Introduction and Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Methodic Labs, Inc., doing business as Ando (“Methodic,” “Ando,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information through our websites, mobile applications, APIs, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”). This Policy applies to all users, including workers, employers, and visitors who interact with our Platform. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service.
Information We Collect
We collect information that you provide directly, information collected automatically through your use of the Platform, and information from third parties authorized to share it with us. The categories of data we may collect include: Identification Data – first name, last initial, contact details, account credentials, and unique identifiers. Employment and Scheduling Data – verified work history, shift attendance, availability, preferences, and wage information as entered by you or your employer. Device and Usage Data – IP address, device type, operating system, browser, app interactions, crash logs, and usage metrics. Location Data – approximate or precise location, if enabled, to support scheduling, shift matching, or relevant employer listings. Communication Data – messages, feedback, or communications with Ando or between users via the Platform. Payment and Transaction Data – billing or payroll information provided by employers or third-party processors if you use payroll-related services. Cookies and Analytics Data – information collected through cookies or similar technologies to improve Platform performance and personalization.
How We Use Information
We use collected data to operate, maintain, and improve the Platform, including to provide predictive scheduling, manage accounts, personalize experiences, ensure security, and communicate with users. Specifically, we may use your information to: provide and enhance services, including scheduling, forecasting, and payroll features; analyze platform usage, train and improve AI models, and optimize demand forecasting; facilitate secure communications between employers and workers; send administrative and transactional notices; protect against fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access; and comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information with Employers (to facilitate scheduling and employment-related functions with your consent or at your direction), Service Providers (for hosting, analytics, communications, and security functions under confidentiality agreements), Legal or Regulatory Authorities (where required to comply with law or valid legal process), Business Transfers (in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets), and via Aggregated or Anonymized Data (for analytics and improvement without identifying any individual or company). We use Worker information not only to support their current employer’s scheduling and staffing needs but also to provide Workers with ongoing access to the Ando Network, where they can discover and request additional work opportunities across participating employers. Workers’ profiles, preferences, and verified work history remain associated with their individual Ando accounts, even if their relationship with a specific employer ends. We do not share personally identifiable Worker data with other employers without the Worker’s active consent.
Data Security and Storage
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards consistent with SOC 2 standards to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction. Data is stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) with encryption in transit and at rest, limited personnel access, and continuous monitoring. Despite these measures, no system is entirely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention and Deletion
We retain personal data only as long as necessary to provide the Platform, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements. Users may request deletion of their personal data by contacting legal@ando.work. Certain data may be retained for compliance or recordkeeping purposes.
User Rights and Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, or to object to certain uses. You may also request a copy of your data or withdraw consent where applicable. California residents may exercise rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and European users may exercise rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to remember user preferences, enhance functionality, perform analytics, and improve user experience. You can adjust browser or device settings to disable non-essential cookies, but doing so may limit Platform functionality.
Children’s Privacy
The Platform is not directed to individuals under the age of sixteen (16). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we learn that we have collected data from a child without appropriate consent, we will delete it promptly.
International Data Transfers
We operate in the United States and may process data outside your country of residence. When transferring personal data internationally, we use appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms recognized under applicable data protection laws.

Ando does not make scheduling decisions, employment decisions, or workplace determinations for any Worker. All such decisions are made exclusively by the Worker’s Employer. Forecasts, recommendations, or matching signals generated by Ando are informational only and are not binding on Employers or Workers.
Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Your continued use of the Platform signifies agreement to this governing law provision.
